The Denver Health Paramedic Division, the exclusive provider of emergency medical services in Denver, Colorado, upholds a mission dedicated to delivering compassionate and clinically superior care to each patient, promoting integrity and continuous advancement.
As a division under the Denver Health and Hospital Authority, offers 911 services to Denver residents, as well as those in Glendale, Sheridan, Englewood, and the Skyline Fire Protection District. The dedicated team comprises 215 paramedics, 20 emergency medical technicians (EMTs), a command staff of 31, and nearly 100 more employees specializing in communications, education, vehicle maintenance, and administration support.
Through the Rita Bass Trauma and EMS Education Institute, provides EMT and paramedic training, along with ongoing education and community programs.
