I’ve never been cared by hospital staff the way i was here. I just got discharged and i’m so grateful for all the attention received. I felt like my concerns were actually heard and we were able to find out what was wrong with me. I wasn’t dismissed about anything i said and i feel so much better now than i have had this whole week. All staff i’ve came across ( quite a few since i came in an ambulance ) were sweet, attentive, and on point. Thank you to all the staff that took care of me!! ❤️

This hospital is amazing, it’s clean very very organized. The staff from house keeping to the food delivery people, the nurses and nurse aids were wonderful. So kind and friendly ***Edit** I was still in the hospital when I wrote the review above. I just want to add that I was here for major surgery. I was in the hospital for 3 days.I was in bed 395A I can’t remember every nurse or aide…Thank you from the bottom of my heart…you are all angels. A special thank you to my OR nurses Ray & I can’t remember the nice young female nurse with dark hair they made me feel at ease. Prep nurse Nell I think that was her name, very nice. I wish I could remember everyone’s name. Thank you again!

The Same day surgery department was amazing. I arrived and was greeted immediately. Everyone from registration to recovery had a pleasant demeanor. They answered all my questions, and was there for every step of my journey. I would definitely recommend the same day surgery department to anyone.

Delivered my baby there a year ago there with dr esseily! Loved the staff, the hospital itself and everything about them! I even got tired and the ER department was moore than amazing! Very fast, professional, and friendly! Thank you for the memorable experience ♥️

Hands down stellar outstanding leadership excellence and exemplary patient care from all of the Clara Maass Medical Center (Barnabas Health) Same Day Surgery Dept MDs, RNs, and Techs and particularly Deborah D, RN and Tiffeny, PCT who went above and beyond in providing superb care to my client prior, during and post ECT procedure! I was even offered fresh muffins and coffee while waiting for my client’s ECT procedure to be completed. Thank you 100-fold and keep up the good work!

I know this hospital has its flaws but the ICU/PCU nurses make up for it entirely. My dad was in the ICU after he suffered a heart attack during a lung biopsy. Unfortunately it came back Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma that was far too progressed. The compassion they showed my family and I, we will never ever forget. Unfortunately my dad passed while in the ICU. Nurses Katherine, Clementine, Corey, Sang (and more) and especially Sheeba who was with my mom and dad when he passed - I can’t thank you enough for the way you cared for him. I’ll remember it forever. We wish we could hug you!
I'm not sure how this hospital only has 2.6 stars. I've been in and out of numerous hospitals over my 40 yeas, and Clara Maass is by far the best. I had to have a same day surgery preformed there yesterday. From the time I stepped into this hospital to the time I left, I was treated with such compassion, kindness, respect and love. The entire staff here remembers how important the bedside manner is, in that most of us are afraid when we need to be in the hospital. We even shared some good laughs, and we all know that's great for the soul and healing. God Bless all of you there at Clara Maass, thank you for all you do. Love me!!!! :)
