    This hospital is establish with a primary objective of giving the best medical care to the community / patients. The quality of care will differ according to the qualification, experiences off the doctors and nurses and other paramedical staffs and laboratory equipments and other infrastructure support. The hospital to a large extent apart from giving best medical services to the oriole of Mizoram wants you reduce the number of patients referred to hospitals outside the states with liberal funds.

    Civil hospital was a state goverment hospital with department of medicine,cardio,ENT,Ortho etc.Neurologist,Gastroenterologist,urologist not available..before checkup you must Get OPD card which is Rs 10 in the Ground floor.

    The emergency department (Casualty) runs 24/7. One of the oldest hospital in Aizawl. The departments are Dental, Medicine, Surgery (with Minor and Major Operation Theatre), Radio and Imaging (X-ray, CT Scan, Ultrasound), Gynaecology (with full fledged labor room and operation theatre), Psychiatry. The hospital also has a Blood Bank and an A.R.T Centre with STI Clinic. It also runs OST centre which gives counseling and opioid substitution for i.d.u who wish to stop
