In April 2016, the regional healthcare system known as CHI St. Alexius Health was formed when several Catholic Health Initiative healthcare facilities joined together. This collaboration resulted in the creation of the largest healthcare delivery system in central and western North Dakota. The system is comprised of a tertiary hospital located in Bismarck and critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, and Williston. Additionally, includes numerous clinics and outpatient services that offer a wide range of specialties, such as Adult Day Care, Allergy and Immunology, Anesthesiology, Arthritis, Asthma, Audiology, Cancer Services, Cardiac Electrophysiology, and more.
