Overview

Cheatham County EMS is devoted to providing a compassionate level of care, akin to that of a "family," for the residents, visitors, and travelers within the county. As the primary 911 ambulance service in Cheatham County, their dedication is focused on preserving and protecting life through a proficient, well-trained, and knowledgeable team of providers. Currently, they oversee two independent stations and a third station shared with the Pleasant View Volunteer Fire Department.The scope of their operations encompasses five ALS ambulances, a group of 30 full-time AEMTs and Paramedics, a growing list of part-time staff, a full-time training instructor/coordinator, a billing clerk, an Assistant Chief, and a Chief.

Thank you for your response to a call for help from the Staffords on Friday, August 16th at 1111 Maplewood Rd, when my unresponsive husband needed medical intervention. Thankfully, he was brought back to us! We moved here in November, so are new to A.C. It is comforting to know your department is so quick to act, so professional, competent and caring! Mr Miller, probably because they respond to everyone who lives, works, plays or travels in Cheatham County, not just the 2 nursing homes. If you think the county needs more ambulances, feel free to contact your county commissioner to get taxes raised some more. Ambulances, buildings, employees, and medical equipment are not free.
