My experience at Charleton was a sequence of excellent performances from initial intake through discharge. I had a scheduled procedure and when I arrived I was impressed by the efficiency and intelligence built into their first point of contact with patients. Thereafter, what stood out most was the demonstration of genuine care and excellence at their jobs that each member of the hospital team displayed. You cannot fake caring. From the person who walks you into the medical areas, to the nurses, doctors and everyone in line doing the work of keeping ill people cared for there was a common thread. They're very good at what they do and they deeply care about making your time under care a positive experience. Top notch Hospital!

Wonderful, courteous, friendly, knowledgeable staff! I had been to the ER at another hospital twice over the weekend and got sent home with pain. I decided to come to Charlton. Can’t say enough about them. They diagnosed the problem, gave me the right pain meds. Kept me comfortable the entire time. Thank you Cathrine Jones, my nurse John, Jonah, to name a few. Outstanding care!

I went in with my 5 year old with a suspected broken bone. They let us in after 5 min wait, the staff was incredibly attentive, caring, and quick, after about 30 minutes we were out and my son had a cast in his arm. One nurse even offered him a special color bandage after his cast was done, so that it looked more cool. I've never had such a great experience in an emergency room.

Was in here for 2 weeks back in September with gallstone pancreatitis , all the nurses and staff treated me great and took care of me. They definitely helped make a bad situation less daunting. They were all so helpful, especially on the telemetry floor. So glad I came here and got the help I needed. Even had my gallbladder out in October after all this and Dr. Vakharia is a fantastic surgeon. Southcoast definitely knows what it’s doing. Thank you for taking care of me.

I had such an amazing experience on my recent visit to the hospital, it started out in urgent Care and then I was sent to the ER. I had a long day ahead of me and didn't want to spend a lot of time in the hospital but I was greeted as soon as I entered before they finish putting my bracelet on I was called in by the nurse the nurse practitioner was waiting for me when I came in I walked down to my room and the doctor walked in pretty much as soon as I finish changing. He was very kind and patient and listened to what was wrong the nurse nurse Rose was her name she was gentle and she put in my IV and then I was taken down to radiology for a cat-scan almost immediately after I was in and out of the hospital and under an hour and I'm so grateful because I was able to continue on my day and got the care that I needed.

I've had care in larger and smaller hospitals; and Charlton has been the best care experience I've ever had. Every single person I interacted with was kind, a good listener, and empathetic. They kept me informed and made sure my needs were met. Random pluses...the view from some of the recovery rooms is better than most hotels in Fall River. And most of the food was actually pretty good. The care portal is handy as well
This hospital is amazing!!! They took such good care of me and my baby. My son was born preemie and he was in the level 2 nursery. All of the nurses and staff there were so kind and helpful in every way. I was so concerned about my baby but with the staff their I could honestly say they made me less concerned because I knew he was in good hands!! Would deff recommend to anyone having a baby go to Charlton Memorial Hospital to have your baby!! I will definitely be going for my next child!. Wonderful people and amazing doctors!!
