Emergency Room experience was a nightmare. I came in with the firefighters at 1 am, they were great. After a few check-ups I had to wait over 6 hours with no information or communication. Workers seemed indifferent and often clumsy. Only when I had a second panic attack did the nurses move me to the doctor's room, where they gave me a pill for anxiety and then all left. At a certain point I was literally shouting for help and nobody was around (I just wanted a glass of water, but also imagine if it was a real emergency and I was left alone). I was told the doctor would be there "soon" but only at 9 am did the real doctor arrive, and at least she was competent. I'm grateful for all healthcare workers but that was the scariest night of my life, and it's awful that I did not feel safe in a hospital.

Went here after I was unable to get any appointments with an English speaking doctor on short notice. The staff were kind, compassionate and helped to explain my options to me and my partner.

We were visiting Lyon from London and my partner became ill and in great pain on Christmas Eve. Some of the reviews here made us expect a bad experience at the hospital. In fact, the care received was faultless. No, we were not seen immediately but it did not take too long. The care was efficient and humane. We could not ask for more. We are deeply grateful to all the staff - thank you!

My husband had a heart attack during our visit to Lyon. He was treated immediately and well in the emergency room, tests run, a cardiologist called, diagnosis confirmed, and the next morning, Dr Sylvain Ranc operated, repairing artery walls and inserting stints. The results were immediate and excellent. Upon return to the US, two doctors here examined the extensive report materials provided to us and we're very favorably impressed with the treatment and care my husband received. We are deeply and eternally grateful for the skills and care given by Dr. Ranc and by all who helped my husband at the hospital.

Very good care for my boyfriend in the hospital emergency room. Special mention to the two ladies who worked at the administrative reception today 24/10: very kind and professional.

Excellent motherhood! I gave birth last August. The staff who followed me were very professional, attentive and dedicated. I highly recommend this maternity ward to future parents.
I was visiting from the US and needed medical urgency. I walked in and the medical staff attended to me expeditiously. Multiple blood tests were performed and a diagnosis was arrived at. I was sent off with a treatment plan.
