Great place to go. Smaller hospital but fantastic doctors, nurses, and hospital staff. Food in the cafeteria is well made, and cost is almost half of a restaurant. Truly a hidden gem in Berlin, Vermont

Every time I have been to CVMC it has been an incredibly positive experience. Virtually no wait, positive interactions and easy parking.

I have a long history with this hospital; I was born there, and so were my first two children (17 & 21 years ago). My first maternity experiences with Central Vt Hospital were fine, but I had just enough negative interaction back then that when we discovered I was going to have another baby we decided to go elsewhere. However, due to our location, when the baby was ready to arrive we made a quick trip to CVMC and she was born very shortly thereafter. I was delighted to discover that since my last child, the new Labor & Delivery department and Woman’s Health staff are all new, and are a fantastic team! Everyone was wonderful, treated us with tremendous respect, and gave our baby a gentle welcome into the world. Besides the new teams of staff, I was happy to learn that delivery rooms offer a large jacuzzi soaking tub with shower, baby has the option of rooming-in with you, there is no transition to a cramped impersonal shared hospital room any longer—the spacious delivery room doubles as your personal bedroom. These positive changes—especially that of the staff!—at CVMC have sold me on Women’s Health and Labor & Delivery, and I encourage anyone seeking a professional team of caring individuals to assist with a gentle hospital birth to check them out!

I was on a trip and had a snowboarding accident and messed up my shoulder. The whole process was very quick and everyone was extremely kind (especially considering it was the evening of New Year’s Eve) everyone including the secretary, X-ray technician, doctor, and literally anyone passing seemed to all be in good moods.

i just had outpatient surgery and my experience was as good as it could be. The staff was attentive and pleasant. I was alone and nervous and was made to feel quite comfortable. I was out at 11. the anesthesiologist was great. I felt totally taken care. The only complaint I have is the bill. I wish they told me an extra 15 min in recovery was costing me $4000. Otherwise kudos to cvh. They are doing a great job in these difficult time

I had surgery on my foot 8/21/18. The surgical staff was amazing. Shout out to Dr. Watson, my RN Katy in recovery, and my surgeon Ciara Hollister. Thank you all for being so awesome! Katy, if you're reading this, you were so supportive and I really felt comfortable with you as my nurse while in recovery. No complaints at all from me! You did a great job, and I can tell you really care for your patients. I am very grateful to have had such wonderful staff for my operation.
