    Our school was in Cairns on a camp and one of our students dislocated a thumb 4 hrs before we were to board our flight home. The staff at the hospital understood our situation and were able to treat our student and get him on the flight home. Very professional and caring

    Not sure Australians know what a great deal they have with the health service. Unfortunately I've been unwell whilst on holiday from the UK and visited serval hospitals around Oz. Without exception, they've all been exceptional! I have seen some shocking attitudes and totally unjustified outbursts towards the front line workers and these people need to be made aware of what they have compared to most countries around the world, including the UK. There aren't many better than what you have here. Thanks Cairns.... 👍 😊

    I was just in the Orthopaedic ward after hip replacement and I would like to commend all the nursing and domestic staff. They are caring and pleasant and just made my stay so much better.
