I had a very good prenatal and C-section experience with the nurses, midwives, and OB team. I saw the midwives for my prenatal/postpartum care and my C-section was performed by Dr. Turner. They all listened to my concerns, helped me feel confident every step of the way, and cracked jokes to keep the mood light. I never once felt judged for not knowing what to do or feeling nervous. I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat. If we ever decide to have more children, I won’t hesitate returning. This was the best birthing experience I could have asked for.

I went into the ER AFTER being seen at a different urgent care center. All of the staff, from the minute we walked into the man we want out were so super helpful and had an amazing sense of humor! The ER doctor himself was an absolute joy! He explain things to me show me pictures of acare center. He explain things to me show me pictures of my x-rays and got very detailed with me about my treatment. Definitely recommend for all of your emergency needs!. I definitely will be returning. If I have a medical emergency their staff, nurses, doctors are absolutely amazing.

The only hospital in Des Moines (besides the VA hospital) that provides dignified compassionate care for it's patients. You all deserve the highest praise! Thanks for caring!

While recently having our two year old granddaughter from out of state in town for the weekend, we needed for her to be seen to evaluate fever and c/o ear pain . Our check in was smooth, compassionate and accommodating . We were about to sit down to wait to be seen when she was called back and within ten minutes she was seen by an ARNP who performed a physical exam that was thorough and appropriate for a very unhappy toddler . Pharmacy staff was equally as kind and competent. We were so grateful and appreciative of the Broadlawns staff in their excellence ! Keep up the good work !

I had my baby boy here two months ago and the midwives were awesome! My nurses were nice for the most part. They didn't question any of my choices or make me feel bad about anything!

I recently had five major tests including imaging and cardiology, all personnel were professional, friendly , informative, caring an attentive. I never have to wait very long to be helped. Thank you!

saw the midwives for the entirety of my pregnancy and birth and I do not have enough good things to say about their team. This was my first pregnancy and I love that it’s a smaller team so you get the chance to know each provider before you give birth but also all the women that work there are super caring and patient. They do things completely different than how most OBs do things that I’ve come across. They are super easy going, not pushy, and supportive in what ever you decide for your birth plan. I cannot sing enough praises for they midwife team!!!
