My husband and I were visiting Vermont from out of town (CA) when he began to experience chest pain upon inhalation. We were seen in the Brattleboro Memorial Hospital Emergency Room and had the BEST care! From the initial contact with the receptionist to the triage nurse (Allyson) to the LPN Liam who did the EKG to the ER doc Dr. Liza Conley to the Imaging Tech Ray Busher who did the CT scan, we were treated so kindly, professionally, and competently. It is incredibly scary to have to deal with a medical emergency, especially far from home, and we could not have asked for a more wonderful medical emergency team. We also just happened to be fortunate enough to come to the ER during a lull of activity and so we were in and out within 3 hours of arrival; an unusually rapid processing in any emergency room anywhere. Deep thanks to you all. What a wonderful crew you have there!

Wanted to say thank you again to Nikki Boggs and Murphy for taken such good care of my daughter while she was dealing with an infection with their care! You were both amazing and did such a wonderful job helping us and helping my daughter feel safe and easing her worries during the time we were there. Thank you so much, it was a much better experience than past times we have been to the ER department. Great work, very thorough and friendly!

We have been to the ER twice since moving into the area. Both visits were very professional. Wait time minimal, very caring, and thorough. Staff was wonderful.

I just had a great experience at the BMH ER. The checkin person, triage nurse, doctor (Dr. Diaz) and the RN (Nikki Boggs) all gave me great care. Nurse Boggs was very knowledgeable about eye care. I was doing yard work and got a tree branch in my eye. It was a little scary with bleeding but it has all turned out well and I have confidence in the care that I received.

I had an appendectomy yesterday, and the whole team had been wonderful! The ER crew, the surgeon, the nurses and techs have all been so kind and light hearted. I was very scared, but they took such good care of me. I have been pleasantly surprised. Plus, the food is delicious! Thank you so much BMH!

I love the hand drawn art on the Purell dispensers throughout the hospital!
