We nurses don’t always make the best patients. 😊. That’s why the care I received here meant so much to me. The ER staff were caring and professional. The 3rd floor staff from every department were kind and attentive. I got great nursing care from Brian and his team. Its a small-ish facility so the personal touch is awesome; yet the care that’s delivered is big hospital caliber.

This hospital is on the small side, so the staff are able to provide more attention to the patients than at larger hospitals. The entire staff, from the phlebotomy techs to CNAs to the nursing staff, physician assistants, and physicians, were friendly, attentive, and helpful. I don't have any recollection from my time in ICU, but once I was moved to another floor, everyone was respectful, treated me with dignity, and genuinely cared about my well being. The room was always clean, and I was provided with fresh linens and gowns as needed, without even asking. The room was quiet so I could get the rest I needed, and the additional staff members who visited such as PT and RT were kind and helpful as well. Despite being in the hospital, this was 1 of the more pleasant hospital stays I've had. If I become ill again, I would prefer staying here for care.

I had two amazing nurses Jenny and Karen provided the best care. All associates that cared for me were kind and attentive. The food was good too. I felt very confident and comfortable during my stay and I’m glad we have Shorepoint in our community!

Went into the ER on Monday, August 6, 202 three at 7 o’clock in the morning due to what sounded like pneumonia. Just had surgery a reverse shoulder on August 3. I found the service there to be remarkable. Dr. David Marks was incredible and so was his staff! Our nurse was Monica, and everyone I came in contact with was caring, and I felt very cared for! Their concern was a blood clot and none was found so they prescribed medicine for my lungs, and since I’ve been there, they are clearing up. Outstanding outstanding, and I would suggest anybody in trouble and needs the ER. This is the place to go in Punta Gorda.

Everyone was wonderful and friendly, especially at registration with Maria. She was so nice to us. We had to come all the way from Naples for this test. Our technician was very sweet. Also the whole experience was very streamlined and positive.

I came to leave a review as I'm currently in the hospital. I've been here for a day so far, and will be here for the next few days for a gallbladder removal. The nurses here go up, and out of their way to make you feel as safe, and comfortable as possible. Every single nurse was happy to come to my care, or help me with anything I needed. I also am very appreciative of the nurses who have told me exactly what is going to happen before they do it, helped a person with severe anxeity get through blood tests and mri's very easily. I'm very thankful for them because being by yourself in a hostpital is rough. These people deserve so much more recognition!

Brendan and Michelle were very professional, caring, and patient when treating my wife. The woman who took the x-rays was also outstanding, unfortunately, I do not remember her name. They are all a credit to their profession!
