I've been to St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet at 333 Madison Street Joliet, IL 60435 quite a few times. I just had an echo cardiogram done at St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet on 08/28/2023 by Echo Tech Theresa. Theresa was awesome, she explained in a way what the test was all about and how it worked. You could tell she had gentle caring demeanor. She put you at ease with her confident job knowledge. She was professional, warm and compassionate with a sense of humor.I needed an IV placed in my hand. That is when I meant a most wonderful RN named Glenda. Again my total respect goes out to all who work in a medical facility. For each one puts them-self's and their family members at great risk of sickness and death from all the diseases and viruses they are around on a daily basis. Remember Nurses are like angels on earth sent to care for and comfort all the sick people face to face. Thank you for being our angels. For all of you I thank you so much for your courage. Respect!!!!!!!!!!

My 2 month old son was having trouble breathing so I brought him into ER. The nurses were very kind and took great care of him. Thank you so much for being so empathetic and for giving me advice on how to make my baby comfortable.

My 90 yr old mother arrived by ambulance on a Sunday evening last week. They immediately diagnosed the problem and she went to emergency surgery. Unfortunately she was not able to recover and passed away on Wed. Everything about my families experience at the hospital was exceptional. My mother had 2 of the best nurses (Jake and Marcial on 7 East) that one could ask for. We are eternally grateful for the care and compassion received.

Myself like many of you others knows about the nursing shortage at this location. I was recently a patient at this location.. considering the shortage. I would like to praise the care I received from these dedicated nurses. I truly appreciate you and your care.

My mom recently had a major surgical procedure at Saint Joseph’s and our whole experience, from admittance to discharge, was wonderful. All the nurses we came into contact with on the 3rd floor were friendly, caring, and professional. We had the same experience when my mom was transferred to the 7th floor as well. A special shout out to her assigned 7th floor Nurses Adrianna and Sean! Adrianna really made my Mom’s stay so pleasant and she has the right balance of caring and firmness that my Mom needed. My Mom is a very active senior but Adrianna was able to explain to her the importance of healing and taking it slow to prevent a setback. My Mom doesn’t listen to a lot of people but she listened to Adrianna and that means a lot to me! I would definitely recommend Saint Joseph’s to anyone in this area.
