Acadia General Hospital

We visited my wife's great uncle here. It seems like a nice hospital. The staff was very nice and attentive. While we were here Christmas 🎄 day he was fed, cleaned, medicated and had just finished his exercises.

I had my surgery here today to remove my gallbladder. I have terrible anxiety and was pretty nervous, but I can say everyone was extremely nice from everyone at pre-registration to the nurses who checked me in, to the blood work, anesthesiologists , to the guy who brought me to surgery to just absolutely everyone!I was made as comfortable as possible and they made me feel so much more relaxed and calm . I am in pain but the hospitality shown today was so nice, and it made the transition easier for me. As someone in school for medical assistance, and an appreciation to medical professionals, I would be grateful to work with people like them! I would recommend this hospital any day. The hospital isn't huge or brand new but it is well kept up and even the OR was nice. I appreciated it every bit cause Lafayette general was really brute, pushy and mean for my c section along with another visit in my pregnancy and I have since been terrified of hospitals. You guys are amazing and for the circumstances of covid , y'all are doing an outstanding job.

I was here twice this week for blood work and another test and both times I was greeted upon entering and leaving and I dealt with amazing people in each area that I visited to get my lab and testing done. Thank you so much for how Kind and Caring you all are!! My time in and out of there was the best it's ever been from years in the past and that really is a great thing. I love how you all are taking care of the patients. Love Acadia General Hospital!! Please let all the staff know that their hard work is much appreciated!!

My dad is 94 years old and had surgery here about 3 weeks ago. I drove down from Houston to make sure he was in good care. I was very surprised by the great service we received. Every employee that we came in contact with was pleasant. The nurse Jess, The doctor and everyone.

I had the best care at this hospital when I went in for a couple of procedures. From the time I walked in the front door until I was rolled out that same door hours later. I had a smile on my face the whole time I was there. Everyone I mean everyone was so professional and kind. Even the CEO.

The outpatient OR staff is the best. Everyone was friendly from pre admit to Doctors nurses anesthesiologist(when he let me wake up enough to talk to him) .Every question was answered you never felt like you were bothering them. Even staff you passed in the halls greeted you and said hello. I want to especially thank Dr. Trahan, Mary, Darlene, Delores And the OR staff. They even called a couple of days later just to check on me
