Dr. Michael D. Sheps is a chiropractic orthopedist who specializes in safe, non-invasive alternatives to conventional treatments. Dr. Sheps received his Bachelor of Science in Biology with an emphasis on Human Anatomy from Bloomfield College in 1980. He subsequently received a Bachelor of Arts in Nutrition from the Life Chiropractic College in 1984. In 1986, he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Life Chiropractic College. In 1998, he was certified in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy.

Dr. Sheps went on to found his first clinic– the All-Back and Joint Care Medical Group– in 1987. In 2012, he founded Pacific Coast Orthopedic Sports Medicine, a multidisciplinary clinic that combines the principles of complementary and alternative medicine with integrative orthopedic care in order to provide patients with the most comprehensive and long-lasting results. In his practice, Dr. Sheps offers a range of therapies including laser therapy, spinal decompression, high energy inductive therapy, shockwave therapy, and holistic chiropractic care. 

Dr. Sheps is an important player in the fields of alternative therapy and medical technology: he collaborates with medical device manufacturers to develop medical lasers and other therapy technologies, lectures internationally, advises healthcare facilities on laser therapy techniques, and certifies orthopedists, chiropractors, and physical therapists in laser therapy administration.
