With over 40 years of experience as a hand surgeon, medical educator, and instructional designer, I am deeply committed to advancing healthcare education through the use of technology. My expertise spans clinical practice, medical research, and healthcare education, where I empower learners and educators through innovative approaches, including online teaching programs and the integration of AI in education.

I serve as a Senior Consultant Hand Surgeon at KTPH National Healthcare Group and a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the National University of Singapore. I also lead the Program for Instructional Design and Artificial Intelligence for Healthcare Professionals at NHG College in Singapore, and I am an Adjunct Professor at Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation in Malaysia. My research interests include hand surgery, microsurgery, and the application of generative AI in medical education and research.

In addition to my clinical and educational roles, I mentor teams in real-world action research and have developed ambulatory surgical centers. I advocate for democratizing education through blended learning approaches and open-access platforms.
