I am an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, specializing in General Practice and Primary Healthcare in New Zealand. I hold an MBBS degree from RGUHS, completed in 2006, and I received my FRNZCGP in 2022. Additionally, I am the Clinical Director at Wecare Family Health Centre, where I lead the delivery of quality patient care.
After completing my MBBS in Mysore, India, I moved to New Zealand in 2010, seeking a better work-life balance. I have had the privilege of working in various hospitals across India, New Zealand, and Australia, gaining a diverse range of experiences in specialties such as General Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Paediatrics, and Radiology.
I completed my GP training in the Auckland region, and my medical practice is driven by a passion for traditional general practice, along with a keen interest in Māori health, paediatrics, and managing chronic health conditions like diabetes and hypertension.
In addition to my in-person practice, I also offer telemedicine services, allowing patients to book consultations with me remotely. This provides greater flexibility for those seeking healthcare advice from the comfort of their own home.
Outside of my medical career, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, playing chess, and taking nature walks to relax and enjoy the outdoors.
