My journey in healthcare has allowed me to serve in multiple locations and positions, including as a General Practitioner in various health centers across Croatia, as well as in Emergency Medicine departments. I am passionate about patient-centered care, and I have worked with a wide range of populations, including refugees, asylum seekers, and non-English-speaking patients.

Currently, I serve as a General Practitioner for Healthcare Center Cazma in Croatia, where I provide comprehensive care alongside a dedicated team of specialists. I previously worked as a Senior House Officer at Cork University Hospital in Ireland, and have held positions as a General Practitioner in refugee clinics in collaboration with Médecins du Monde in Zagreb.

Throughout my career, I have also been deeply involved in building and reorganizing clinics to improve efficiency and patient care. I am particularly focused on patient safety, infection control, and managing long-term conditions. My skills include creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), conducting clinical examinations, therapeutic management, time management, and decision-making in emergency settings. Additionally, I have experience in teaching and training future healthcare professionals, which has been a rewarding part of my career.

In addition to my role as a clinician, I hold a Bachelor's of Science in Biochemistry from North Carolina State University and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Zagreb Faculty of Medicine. I continuously update my knowledge through education and certification, ensuring that my practices are aligned with the latest medical standards.
