I am one of the highly qualified and an expert Cardiology - Interventional Cardiology with an invaluable experience of over 20 years. My residence is in Ponsacco, Toscana, Italy. Currently, I serve as a Professor of Cardiology at Pisa University, where my clinical research focuses on the interventional treatment of coronary artery disease, particularly acute coronary syndromes, as well as carotid and peripheral artery disease, and valvular heart disease. My expertise extends to advanced percutaneous interventions, including transcatheter aortic and mitral valve procedures. I also hold a director position at the Azienda Ospedaliero Universitaria Pisana, overseeing the Hemodynamics Division.

With a background of leadership as Chairman of the European Society of Cardiology's Working Group on Aorta and Peripheral Vascular Diseases from 2016 to 2018, and a record of 180 peer-reviewed publications, I am deeply committed to advancing cardiac care. Alongside my academic and clinical roles, my qualifications include specialized training from SDA Bocconi in chronic disease management, which complements my research in cardiovascular and pulmonary pathophysiology.
