A consultant in Orthopaedic Surgery at King Fahad Specialist Hospital Dammam, I focus on complex shoulder surgery and sports medicine. I completed my medical training at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, graduating with Honors, and pursued residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery at the same university. Following this, I completed fellowship training in both Sports Medicine and Upper Extremity Surgery at McMaster University.

At McMaster University, I gained expertise in complex open and arthroscopic techniques for the shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee. I also served as an assistant team physician for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (CFL) and Forge FC (CPL), gaining experience in the treatment of elite athletes.

My research interests lie in clinical outcomes related to shoulder surgery, particularly in managing massive rotator cuff pathology and complex instability. I have published numerous peer-reviewed manuscripts in top-ranking journals and regularly present at global conferences. I also have a keen interest in global surgery and in building surgical capacity among healthcare institutions.
