As a non-invasive cardiologist, I began my medical journey after graduating from Tripoli Medical School in 1986 and later advanced my expertise with a postgraduate diploma in echocardiography from Melbourne University in 2009. My career spans multiple continents, including positions at the Heart Institute of the Caribbean, where I have been serving as a Consultant Cardiologist since 2012, and Al Razi Clinic in Libya. I have also held a pivotal role as a cardiologist at the Central Hospital in Tripoli, Libya.

In addition to my clinical practice, I am actively involved in global cardiovascular initiatives. As a member of the European Cardiac Society, Libyan Cardiac Society, and World Heart Federation, I am dedicated to promoting heart health. Notably, I served as the coordinator for the "Go Red for Women" program, fostering collaboration between the Libyan Cardiac Society and the World Heart Federation to address cardiovascular health in women.
